Hey J1s those are ur Physical Fitness Test results. As you can see the expectations set by me were not very high. The expectations were set based on avg performance of your batch. Its NOT ok if u performed below expectations. Train hard-ER or maybe u have adopted the wrong training strategy..haha. Anyways u guys SHOULDN'T get BRONZE for NAPFA. Basket better dun throw face. Hopefully i will see better results for the next fitness test before we step down. Pls improve on these stations as it will help u in your climbing. If u dun noe why i chose the stations here are the reasons:
1)Sit-up- test ur abs which is important in climbing long overhang routes.
2)2.4km- test of determination, stamina and cardiovascular which is important for speed climbing
3)Dead-hang- Forearm strength and endurance
4)Pull-ups- u should noe why...HAHA
Oh ya one more thing..Strength without technique is shit..so guys if u're thinking of hitting the gym 24/7 u might wanna reconsider. Its not that i wanna bastard anyone but it iss a fact. U guys and GALS can go to the gym but have a balance between climbing n weight training.
FORMULA to success:
WEIGHT TRAINING + BOULDERING + ur BRAIN = CHAMPION
(haha bullshit!!)
Well happy climbing peeps!!!
